entrance is hard to find! 2 false entrances outside, you have to make your way inside the mall itself.
soup dumplings were excellent! don’t miss the tofu skin and edmame, jellyfish, eggplant, and lion’s head meatballs.

Found another gem of a mom-and-pop spot! I cannot believe how light the dough was on the soup dumplings—and the soup + crab 🦀 filling? Absolutely to die for. A must-visit. Come yeti for yourself! Can’t wait to return and try more authentic Chinese food.

Finding the restaurant is a bit like a treasure hunt. Outdoor signage is limited, and there's no access door directly from the outside. Instead, you have to come inside a larger complex and turn right into two dark hallways before the space opens up to this nearly hidden restaurant space. Inside, the tables are fairly packed in, so when my husband and I came at peak lunch time on a Saturday, nearly every table was occupied with customers.
When full, the energy is lively without feeling frenetic, and that's largely thanks to the efficiency of the servers here. Unlike most other restaurants, there isn't any one server assigned to a table, so there was always someone around to help if ever we needed something. It also seemed like someone came by with jugs of hot tea and ice water every five minutes, topping off our glasses as soon as we had a few sips. Plates are brought as soon as they're ready, which helps keep the food fresh and - depending on what you've ordered - the meal into more of a course-like affair.
Our soup dumplings with pork were the first and fastest to arrive at our table, clocking in at a mere seven minute wait. Since the name strongly hints at their expertise, it's impossible not to order at least a basket. In fact, when you first sit down, they'll place small plates of ginger shreds as matter-of-factly as they put down water glasses because the presumption is that any one dining here is likely to have soup dumplings. I've had xiao long bao at quite a few spots across the city and Queens, and I found these to be excellent. The dumpling skin was on the thinner side without being so thin that the wrappers burst to soup spillage. There wasn't as much soup inside, but the taste was amazing.
We loved the soup dumplings, but we might've liked the beef with string beans even better. The string beans were perfectly cooked with a generous amount of tender beef pieces. This was a conversation-halting entree for us as we both silently fought for last pieces.

The BEST soup dumplings in the area - period. They don’t take reservations, but the line moves pretty quickly. While you’re waiting, grab a menu and start jotting down what you want because they move fast when you get seated. The soup dumplings are hands-down the star of the show and the scallion noodles are a MUST order. Chicken and broccoli & the eggplant in garlic sauce are also super solid. Love that they serve bottomless hot tea. Andy is an absolute gem and makes the whole experience feel even more welcoming.
Bottom line: come hungry, be ready to order fast, and DO NOT leave without trying the soup dumplings and scallion noodles. You’ll thank me later :)

One of my go to local spots for dim sum and Chinese dishes, great value, generous portions, and consistently good food.
This has become one of my regular neighborhood spots. Their dim sum and main dishes are consistently good which is why the place is usually packed. If you come during rush hour or on weekends, expect a wait, but the food is worth it.
We tried the cucumber appetizer for the first time and it was a bit sweeter than what I've had at other restaurants.
Everything else was what we normally order and didn't disappoint. The beef dish paired with fried rice is easily one of my favorite combinations here and something I find myself ordering again and again. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the quality has been consistent on every visit.
Try to visit outside peak hours if you want to avoid a wait, especially on weekends.

My best friend took me to this spot to try Chinese food, and I completely fell in love. Everything was delicious, fresh, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients.
My absolute favorites were the 1st Pork Soup Dumplings and the Pan-Fried Pork Buns, juicy, flavorful, and honestly unforgettable.
I also tried the Chicken with Broccoli and the Chicken Fried Rice, which felt surprisingly fresh and light, yet still super satisfying.
Service was fast, attentive, and genuinely friendly, huge thanks to Amy for her great service, kindness, and willingness to help.
And don’t forget to order their tea , it’s the perfect way to round out the meal.

We were driving home from upstate New York and there was terrible traffic on the GW. We live in the Bronx but we were driving through New Jersey to get back into the city so we decided to wait it out and get some dinner. We wanted some thing that felt healthy but satisfying and we made a perfect choice by stopping here. At first, we thought it was closed from the outside, but then we realized you have to walk in this strange mall and that’s actually how you enter the restaurant. It was very crowded but the weight staff was very prompt. They use those cards where you write what you want instead of taking your order and to be honest, I prefer those. Our food came out quick. We had soup, dumplings, cucumber, salad, hot, and sour soup, udon and green beans. We drank hot tea and iced water, and it was just the right amount of filling. Also, it was very affordable. my favorite soup dumpling place is in Chinatown in Manhattan, but I think they might actually have better soup dumplings here though there is not a huge variety. Also, our server was Andy and she was great.

This has been one of the best Chinese restaurants we’ve tried in the area.
From the moment we walked in, the owner and his wife made us feel incredibly welcome. The staff were also warm and friendly, giving us a genuine “home away from home” feeling. Of course, speaking Chinese probably made the experience feel even more personal, but their hospitality was outstanding.
The cold appetizers may be a matter of personal preference. The portions are cut quite generously, and the seasoning seems to be adjusted slightly for local tastes, so they’re a bit milder than we expected.
The xiaolongbao, however, were absolutely phenomenal. Each bite released a rich burst of hot broth and flavorful juices, with delicious pork and seafood fillings that kept us reaching for another one. The noodle dishes were excellent as well.
One pleasant surprise was the portion size. Everything was more generous than we expected, and we definitely overordered!
The restaurant was still packed late into the evening, with people continuing to line up outside, which says a lot about its popularity.
We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Jersey
